Topic: Answers to "where is the policeman?" and other FAQ

ok i played HKO and here are some answers to some of the frequently asked questions in the game:

1. where is the policeman?
like me, at first i thought the policeman is in florapolis, but actually he is in the middle of south dream forest and his name is "innunoomawarisan"

2. how do i make a "slick stone"?
first you have to buy the skill book from the food npc at sanrio harbour, after reading the book, you should be able to make the slick stone by clicking the "product" tab at the right of your screen. making slick stone requires 1 gravel and 1 clean spring water, the spring water can be bought at general items npc in florapolis

3. where is the princess?
the princess can be found in the middle of west dream forest and her name is "pinkuruchan"

4. where can i find chilopods and insane chilopods?
chilopods and insane chilopod can be found in the lower right part of west dream forest and they are called "centipede" and "insane centipede"

5. where can i find green water drop?
it can be found in sanrio harbour, lowest extreme left of the map. you will know that it is there when the ground becomes sparkly/bubbly and when you hover your cursor over, it becomes a "?" symbol (thanks to Candylicious for helping me with this one ^_^)

6. where can i find sorosis?
sorosis can be found at east of florapolis valley, not in the south as indicated in the quest.

7. where can i find lily in london?
lily in london can be found actually outside london, she can be found in north secret peak.

8. where can i find maple and flora for woodcutting quest?
maple is from caterpillar trees while flora is from wind bell trees. both trees can be found in west of dreamland, not in west dream forest as indicated in the quest. (i would like to thank Ashley for helping me with this one)

9. where can i find 10 teeth of curs?
curs teeth can be obtained by stunning curs in north secret peak (the quest says "west countryside")

10. what does sakura's key open?
sakura's key opens kurin's house in florapolis, you can find sakura npc inside.

11. where can i find coals and copper?
you can mine coals and copper at east of dream land (thanks to Ashley for the help)

12. where can i harvest miracle leaf?
miracle leaf can be harvested from sun grass (thanks to Serenity for the help)

13. where can i find curved buck tooth for secret box quest, it says it drops from snake?
curved buck tooth are actually dropped by big boars, not snakes (nor pythons) as indicated in the quest.

This will be a great thread if we all pitch in! Thank you so much, you answered some questions I had. There seems to be very little help for information on quests other then asking people in game. Maybe this thread will help too.

Here is some info I collected while doing the quests in the harbour. For people starting out, saving these things while you go around will help! There were a couple of quests that I got done fast because I did not sell some of the items required for later quests. I posted this on my blog too, I hope to keep it updated ^_^

Here are my tips for newbies in the Harbour area:

FOR WAND - Go find the NPC to the west for the shamrock quests and you will get your wand. To find all npc’s click on the paper looking icon under your small map and check NPC’s then you will see where they all are.

SAVE THESE ITEMS! You will need them for quests, so as you go around gathering and killing things save these items:

10 Shamrocks

30 Rare Shamrocks

Book Pages:

Wizard of Oz 21
Wizard of Oz 46
Pinocchio 3
Jack and the Beanstalk 19
Jack and the Beanstalk 88

30 Unknown Leaves

20 Rare Leaves

30 Slime

5 Milk (bought from FOOD npc)

2 Chocolate (bought from FOOD npc)

2 Chocolate Milk (made from recipe from FOOD npc after above)

30 Crab Claws

30 Short Sticks

30 Willow

1 Road Blockers Pilers 9 - from the mean red crab to the north

Here is a newbie question for you all:

Skillbooks: how to use them and how to make stuff once you use them?

I was told to right click on it and I would have the skill, however I checked everywhere and no mention of the skill. I am talking about the cooking skills from the chocolate milk quest.

Or did I royally mess this up?

You may be looking in the wrong place... check the productions tab on your sidebar (it's the one that looks like two vials). A window should come up with four tabs of view... those are the four types of production. Explore through those four tabs and you'll be able to see everything you have learned the ability to make. If you click the recipes for the items, it'll show you what materials you need and how many of each.

Yes that makes sense. I will check when I get home from work. :)

I am supposed to right click the book from my inventory to learn it right? It went poof and I just want to make sure I did not accidentally delete it.

you have to mine/dig for the pearl from clay in east and west misty dream. (be careful of the bees) <-- pls correct me if im wrong in the location.

Thank you for posting this guide, it is quite helpful. I am having some issues of my own with a quest that requires me stunning boars. Those boars be evil lil' monsters, docking points from you just by being near them, or them coming up to you, eep! They have sent me packing many the time back to Floratopia (or whatever the name is). How indeed do you stun one? I only have the basic wand and basic clothes....and have only been succesful once by sheer luck to stun those guys. Anyone do any better? If so can you tell me which weapon you use and which clothes you were wearing? I'd really appreciate it :)
