The time that we have waited for has come!  Yes our beloved game will be back on October 8, 2008!  Called the Founder's Beta, a limited number of players will be treated to the chance to play the game ahead of Open Beta.  Special prizes and benefits await players who participate in the Founder's Beta as well!

So what's new in the game?  Well here's a quick lowdown on what to expect:
  • A new game client with a new and improved interface.
  • New quests and NPC's
  • New explorable maps
  • Paris and London will finally open to everyone
  • Improved graphics and special effects
  • New monsters
  • New items to craft and customization options for your avatar.
  • Team-play oriented gameplay enhancements.
So how can you join?  Just create a SanrioTown account and use your SanrioTown email to send a blank message to hkofounder@hellokitty.com.  For more information, visit the Official Hello Kitty Online Blog.

The Founders’ Beta will allow a limited number of users to play the official Hello Kitty MMORPG ahead of launch while receiving Founder benefits and participating in special in-game events.

What are Founder benefits? What special in-game events do you have in store?
 
Known as The Kittynator or Kittynator
Was Jules in Closed Beta
Was Kittynator in Founder's Beta

As of now it will be our little surprise for you all.   All I am allowed to say right now is that we have a whole string of awesome events waiting for you at the Founder's Beta.  

edit:  Thanks for pointing out that piece of missing information.  It's been a long day and I have been waiting to post this bit of good news. I missed stuff in all that excitement.

I hope I get in, it seems like if you were in the original beta you should since you really are a "founder". But that's just me. *hopes*

Oh!  I missed out on the first beta, and vowed that it wouldn't happen again!  *sends message right away*
 
When I first read what people were posting in their blogs, I was thinking that this might be a scam. XD  I'm glad I looked for an official announcement in the forums.  Why isn't this news on the front page?
